They only happen once a week, but Commitment Ceremonies on Married At First Sight are certainly no joke.

Throughout the night, each couple takes a turn on the couch to face the three experts, where they hash out their issues in front of the other couples.
Prior to this, they also have to decide on whether or not they want to leave or stay in the experiment with their partner.
And as we know from seasons past, if only one person writes leave and their party says stay, they both must remain in the experiment for another week to see if they can make things work.
So, to keep track of who exactly said their final goodbyes, we’ve rounded up all the couples who have left the experiment so far.
Holly & Andrew
To no one’s surprise, Holly and Andrew were the first couple to leave the experiment after an explosive turn of events.
Their MAFS journey was rocky, to say the least, but things hit a fever pitch when Andrew stormed off during a dinner party and walked off set.
After he failed to show up to the Commitment Ceremony, expert John Aiken confirmed that he had left for good. “[Andrew] has decided not to be a part of the experiment any longer,” he said.
Having to face Commitment Ceremony alone, Holly shared an emotional letter with the group and expressed how she was “silenced” by Andrew.
“Andrew took my voice, and he silenced me. This is my voice, and believe me, I am here right now to speak for the people who in a relationship have been silenced and who are not believed,” she said.
She then revealed her very obvious decision to leave the experiment, making her and Andrew the first couple to call it quits this season.
Selin & Anthony
In what seemed like a long time coming, Selin and Anthony finally called it quits on their relationship and their time in the experiment at the third Commitment Ceremony.
Writing down “leave”, Anthony explained that he needed a “spark” and “flare” in his life, as well as “that excitement” in a relationship.
“I need to be able to connect with somebody and I’m just not feeling that,” Anthony told the experts of his decision to leave.
Selin on the other hand, made her decision ever so clear as she wrote down “I’m done!” on her card to indicate she was ready to go.
Jessica & Daniel
To say it was a rocky romance for Jessica and Daniel would be a vast understatement, as the pair couldn’t stop clashing throughout their short time in the experiment.
After a tough week for the couple, Jessica chose to leave at the Commitment Ceremony, but Daniel wanted to give their marriage one more go and wrote ‘stay’.
But, their time in the experiment came to an abrupt end when Jess decided to walk out on Daniel and the whole show the day after.
Kate & Matt
While Matt tried his hardest to impress Kate over the course of their short time together in the experiment, they ended up parting ways on the couch.
Kate was unable to get over Matt’s drunken behaviour, despite his apology, and Matt himself knew that he had removed any glimmer of hope to make their relationship work.
Both landing on the same page in terms of their decision, Kate and Matt wrote “leave” at the Commitment Ceremony.
Carolina & Dion
While viewers could see this coming from a mile away, Dion was blindsided and left to face the Commitment Ceremony alone after Carolina was nowhere to be seen.
Facing the experts without his wife, Dion was up first on the couch and wrote “leave”, but also wished Carolina all the best and hopes she will find love.
Although, to his and everyone else’s surprise, Carolina showed up later in the night with co-star Daniel, in an attempt to re-enter the experiment as a new couple.
They were denied by the experts after Carolina’s treatment of Dion during their time together, and she and Daniel also left the experiment for good.
Samantha & Al
It was the very last Commitment Ceremony of the season, and it was Samantha and Al who said their goodbyes to the experiment and to each other.
After trying to leave the previous week, Sam was initially against staying any longer to establish a friendship with Al, but it ended up working out for the pair.
While Al had hoped for a second chance at love with Sam, he knew their time was up and was able to leave on good terms with his bride.
