Married At First Sight viewers were left sitting on the edge of their seat on Sunday night as Davina and Dean came clean about their affair. But, eagle-eyed fans were left annoyed and confused by the glaringly obvious editing fails during Ryan and Davina’s intense couch confessional.
In the episode, Davina appears to move up and down the length of the couch in a matter of seconds mid-way through a conversation.
Twitter was quick to point out the embarrassing error.
‘‘F***d edition. One minute his arm is across the couch, next minute Davina is at the far end. Sack ur continuity person,’ one user wrote.
Another added, ‘Worst editing ever #MAFS Somehow Davina has moved from one position on the couch to the next mid questioning…is she teleporting?’
‘Horrible editing job of the Ryan and Davina discussion’, another agreed.
In the shocking episode, Dean started to come clean about his flirtations with Davina, only for Davina to hit back after discovering that he’d slept with Tracey the night before.
An angry Davina said, ‘So you just thought you’d get one last one in, last day of the week?’
She added: ‘You said to me there’s no spark with Tracey!’
The 39-year-old creative director was quick to defend himself, with the pair going head-to-head as they fought in front of the other couples.
As he continued to argue with Davina, Dean explained that his attraction to her was ‘more of a superficial thing,’ and that his feelings for Tracey were deeper.
A heartbroken Tracey fights back, ‘So, every time we have a fight or something happens, are you just going to run to someone every time?’
Trying to explain, Dean says: ‘I had a complete turnaround and went, ‘What am I doing?’ I need to be with Tracey. I need to make an effort with this.’
The couple were allowed to then spend some private time together to discuss the future of their relationship.
In an even more shocking turn of events, an unsuspecting Ryan had voted to stay in his relationship with Davina, meaning the two must spend another week together.
When Dean and Tracey returned, the heartbroken wife made a shock decision – to stay with her husband despite his unfaithfulness.
