The Bachelor star Laura Byrne has taken a swipe at her fiance Matty “J” Johnson’s ex Georgia Love, former Bachelorette, on her new podcast.
The drama went down when Laura’s slammed Georgia on Life Uncut on Wednesday, after Georgia posted a tweet about current Bachelor Matt Agnew sending home fan favourite Elly Miles.

Georgia joked: “F*** YOU MATT. Don’t @ me.”
The tweet and the language Georgia used infuriated Laura.
Speaking to her podcast co-host Brittany Hockley, Laura said: “The fact that Georgia Love had said this really grind my gears.
“My issue with it didn’t so much come from, [that Georgia is] offering criticism. It’s totally OK to not be an Abbie [Chatfield] fan and to be upset that your favourite character is going home. However, language is really, really important.
“She didn’t say, ‘Hey, this isn’t cool’. She chose to use obscenities and basically verbally abused Matt for his choices.
“It also then validates anybody else who wants to sling abuse at [Matt Agnew], which is just not the example that [previous reality stars] should be setting when we have been in that position before.”
Laura also said that Georgia was being hypocritical when she received a backlash when she sent home fan favourite, firefighter Cameron Cranley on The Bachelorette in 2016.
Laura continued: “As much as I do question Matt’s decisions in keeping Abbie on the show, I still think it’s a bit of a situation where it’s ‘pot calling kettle’.
“I just think as a journalist and someone who really understands the power of language, I expected more than that [from Georgia].”
Georgia has yet to respond to Laura’s comments.
It is long believed that the pair so not get along after Georgia chose Lee Elliott over Matty J during her season on The Bachelor. They recently got engaged.
Matty was given his own season the following year and chose Laura Byrne, who he is now engaged to and they have a daughter together.
