Barely a month since they made their tragic split announcement, it looks like Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have both well and truly moved on from each other.
As New Idea exclusively revealed last week that Jen was seeking solace in the arms of ex-husband Brad Pitt, we can now reveal that Justin has completely fallen for British model Alexa Chung.
A source close to Justin revealed: ‘Justin’s smitten with Alexa and has told pals how, while he didn’t plan this to happen, things have progressed quickly and they’re already planning a vacation and starting a family together.’ Justin, 46, and Alexa, 34, are believed to have met through mutual friends last year.
The pair first sparked speculation of romance when they were spotted together at New York Fashion Week last month. Meanwhile, Jen was on the other side of the country, celebrating her 49th birthday with close girlfriends, including fellow Friends star Courteney Cox.
‘Justin’s known Alexa for a while, but sparks flew again at NYFW last month and he leaned on her during his marriage breakdown – and during the aftermath of the split, they’ve become even closer,’ spills the insider.
Alexa has been spotted visiting The Leftovers star at his Hamptons hideout as he escapes the city in the aftermath of his split from Jennifer. And New Idea sources say the pair are ‘head over heels’ for one another – in fact, an increasingly broody Alexa has even told the actor she’s desperate to fall pregnant soon!
The baby news will no doubt devastate Jen, as pals say Justin repeatedly broke his promise to have a baby with her because of his frustration over her refusal to make a life for herself and with him in New York.
‘Alexa’s told Justin she’s not interested in being his rebound fling and while she’s not interested in marriage, she’s keen to start a family, which Justin has agreed he’s committed to – especially as he wanted children with Jen for so long, but the distance and other circumstances made it impossible,’ confirms the source.
‘Alexa’s put herself on a fertility-boosting diet and they’ve already started trying, so it’s only so long before she falls pregnant and Jen finds out.’
In the meantime, sources say Justin will go public with the fashionista as soon as his divorce from Jen is finalised. And he’s already planning to join his new girlfriend on a trip to the UK next month, where he’ll be introduced to all her loved ones at a family wedding.
‘Justin’s keen to keep things as low profile as possible while the dust settles and until his divorce is finalised, but with so many mutual pals, Jen will no doubt find out sooner rather than later and this will break her heart – no matter how happy she is with Brad.’
