Schapelle Corby’s shock complaint about being in Australia

Her controversial statement has left many divided.

She’s only just landed back on Aussie soil, but Schapelle Corby is wasting no time in documenting her return to regular life.

The 39-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday night to make a bold statement about the weather.

“Damn its cold,” she captioned a snap of herself wearing fluffy, zebra print socks and thongs, alongside the hashtag “#haventbeenthiscoldin13years.”

Fans were quick to show their support of the convicted drug mule, writing comments such as “Keep it real girl loving the Aussie way thongs and socks on point!!!!,” “You crack me up Schapelle,” and “Cracking some jokes, amazing.”

But her complaint has only angered others.

“Go back to Bali then,” one user penned.

This is the latest in a string of controversial posts Corby has shared since becoming a free woman.

On Monday night, she made mocked the Australian media by uploading a video to Instagram of herself and her family watching live chopper footage following a convoy of cars believed to be carrying her from Brisbane airport.

“It’s the convoy,” her sister Mercedes can be heard narrating the clip.

“Pelle’s being chased by a helicopter. In that car.”

“But there we are,” she adds, panning the camera to the smiling 39-year-old as she shrugs her shoulders.

Corby captioned the post: “They’re doing what they do best… thanks for our friend John for helping & Tom for the cars. Awsome. Thankyou x.” 

The family of William Tyrell have also slammed the Brisbane woman, after she used media coverage surrounding her release to raise awareness of the missing boy.
