A clever mum from the Gold Coast has come up with a genius $200 Ikea dresser hack.
Kylie Hughes has come up with a simple hack turns a simple dresser into a glorious luxury furniture piece using Stylkea stick-on fretwork panels. The best part of it all is that it’s just under $10!
As for how she came up with the idea, Hughes said: ‘I was spending literally hours and hours looking through magazines and design sites, trying to figure out how to get the same look on a budget’
‘I didn’t want my home looking like a clone of the Ikea catalogue. That’s [where the idea came from] for peel-and-stick panels, so the Ikea-ness disappears’ she further added.
‘The panels are customised to perfectly fit, you literally just peel and stick them on, you don’t need any tools, and they come in a variety of different materials’ she described the furniture.
