He’s the television personality that caused a stir with his Married At First Sight promo video last year, and now as the first episode of the hit series airs, self-proclaimed ‘alpha-male’ Dean Wells has caused yet another stir.
Audiences across Australian flocked to social media to slam Wells ‘traditionalist’ view that women are ‘controlled’ by men in a relationship.
Twitter exploded with unhappy viewers, calling Dean ‘repulsive’ and a ‘jerk.’
Fans of the show were not happy with the reality stars controversial remarks regarding gender roles.
One user wrote, ‘Dean has to be one of the most repulsive men to ever grace TV. #MAFS.’
Another added, ‘Dean is not a ‘man’s man’. Dean is just a jerk. #MAFS’
Twitter didn’t stop there, several more people gave their two cents while watching the wedding unfold.
