Hailey Baldwin married Justin Bieber just seven short months ago, but the model and A-Lister is taking married life in her stride thank you very much.
She officially changed her name to Bieber immediately after the union was made official and is already taking steps towards shoring up her business empire, firstly by trademarking the name Bieber Beauty, clearly with the intention of launching a beauty and cosmetics line.
Hailey is just 22 but don’t let that fool you – the model is one very smart cookie and has never been shy about her plans for creating her own line.
During a recent visit to Australia she declared she would launch her own beauty project in the very near future and clearly, she wasn’t kidding.
“It’s something I have wanted to do for a long, long time,” she said, adding that she had learned much about makeup, what works, what doesn’t and why during her years as a model.
And of course, Hailey, daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, won’t have to go far if she needs inspiration or advice. She’s long been a close friend of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, the latter owning and operating Kylie Cosmetics, one of the most successful beauty lines on the planet.
Kylie Cosmetics is bold and bright and skewed towards looks that are anything but natural. Perhaps Hailey, who has a more classic, fresh-faced look herself, will aim for the other end of the market – that is to say, a more natural, earthy look.
On that we will just have to wait and see.
The starlet also filed to register the name Hailey Bieber in October 2018.
Under that name, Hailey plans to launch her own clothing line, something she says she’s also deeply passionate about.
“I’m so inspired by clothes and fashion. I really love clothes, so I pay really close attention to what designers and creative directors do in terms of cuts and fits,” she told WWD.
