Michelle Bridges opts for leather mini – as she shares lunchbox secrets

The fitness star went back to black in Sydney

Fitness queen Michelle Bridges showed off her impressively toned arms as she opted for black leather for a Foxtel launch party in Sydney on Tuesday.

Michelle, 47, joined model Tegan Martin for the launch of Foxtel’s upcoming 4K channel.

The partner of Steve – The Commando – Willis – took to the red carpet in a black leather mini-skirt – which she paired with a black sheer top that showed a glimpse of her toned midrift.

The mum – who has a little boy, Axel with Steve Willis – has recently been taking to social media to share the simple lunchtime recipes that help her to keep in shape. 

Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, Michelle revealed her latest ‘five minute lunchbox’ .

‘Getting quite addicted to finding new and colourful combos for my take-to-works,’ the star wrote alongside a photo of her neatly segmented lunchbox.

‘Today’s #5minutelunchbox is brought to you by hot smoked salmon (store bought but totes inspired to smoke my own this weekend, lemon hummus, leftover brown rice and fridgy bits and pieces. Looks good right,’ Michelle continued.

Meanwhile, Michelle’s lunchbox from 7 August was just as simple.

‘Had to take a snap of my #5minutelunchbox this morning, even though this caption will take me longer to write that it took me to put this together!’ Michelle wrote.

‘Last night’s quinoa (made a cup or so extra), chucked together with some fridge staples while I boiled a couple of eggs.’

Other lunchbox staples for the fitness enthusiast include, tuna and avocado mixed with leftover brown rice and ‘some random veggies’ plus a handful of edamame from Michelle’s freezer.

‘It’s one of the main meals of the day, so eating a healthy lunch is vital,’ Michelle writes on her 12 Week Body Transformation page.

‘You have the whole of the afternoon to get through, so it’s important to have some healthy lunch ideas that will give you the energy you need and keep your mood and concentration levels up.’ 

Michelle advises those keen to keep in shape to prepare lunch the night before and store it in the fridge and says using leftovers are a key way to avoid waste. 

‘Prepare soups and other cooked meals at the weekend and freeze in containers for the week ahead,’ Michelle continues.
