Currently making its way around TikTok is a clip from a documentary that KFC recently featured in, where it shows an employee showing how she makes the famous gravy.
The British documentary was about life inside KFC’s chains during the Christmas period, and a worker named Ann explained she makes 700 litres of the brown sauce a week, before revealing the gravy-making process in detail.

Is KFC’s “crackling” – otherwise known as the leftovers from the bottom of the chicken fryers.In the footage, that is now going viral on TikTok, Ann calls it her “lovely crackling”, where she takes it and whisks it into water before she puts it into the microwave.The clip has been viewed by over 80,000 TikTok users, and has garnered thousands of comments, with the revelation having left viewers shocked as many had no idea this was how the gravy was made.“Crackling” is leftovers from the bottom of the chicken fryers.
