We’ve seen eggs made in 394340 different ways.Poached, scrambled, fried, boiled, in the Kmart ie Maker, in a Thermomix, in the oven, on a sandwich press …. we could go on for hours!
But one of the clever home cooks over at the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group has blown our minds this morning with THIS clever all-new way of whipping up a batch of boiled eggs.
Sharing her fabulous tip on the awesome page, Kmart Mum Larnie reveals how she used the $69 Air Fryer from the popular budget chain store to make her morning eggs.
She writes: ‘Did you know you can “Boil” eggs in a Kmart Airfryer!‘I just tried it with 4 eggs at 135 degrees for 15 mins and it worked perfectly!’Did it ever – just look how good they look!Larnie went on to clarify that you don’t need to add water to the air fryer before cooking them – and the shells came easily off!Says Larnie: ‘No water required. Pop eggs straight in basket 🙂’Sheadds:‘Popped them in a bowl of cold water straight after and the shell peeled straight off.’Love this! The Kmart Air Fryer recently received four out of five stars from Canstar – coming in 2nd behind the Philips Air Fryer. And while the Kmart appliance is more expensive than other gadgets form the bargain store at $69, it’s still significantly cheaper than the Philips range which is priced between $229 and $499.The egg hack blew away the other Kmart Mums, who couldn’t wait to give it a go.‘Is there anything the Air Fryer can’t do?!’ asked one. Said another: ‘They do everything!!’Said a third: ‘It’s the most amazing invention!’ Added one more: ‘Omg! I’m trying this tomorrow. Thank you 😊’Wecan’twaittogiveitagotoo! For more amazing ideas, make sure you’re following Kmart Mums Australia – click here for more!
