The upcoming season of The Block is set to be it’s biggest yet, and a teaser released on Tuesday has shown that one team might have already had enough.
In a promo clip shared to Instagram, contestant Sara is shown mid-meltdown and threatening to quit the show after judges slam her room as a ‘disaster.’
Breaking into tears, Sara can be heard saying: ‘You’ve got to be kidding me!’
Getting visibly angrier, Sara yells, ‘Something isn’t right!’ and attempts to cover cameras with McDonald’s wrappers.
The on-screen disaster comes straight after the team – consisting of Sara and partner Hayden – talked themselves up as the ‘A-team.’
‘You can’t get any better than us, we’re amazing,’ she boasts. ‘The judges are going to love, love, love [us].’
This season Blockheads are attempting to renovate Melbourne’s Gatwick Hotel – famously labelled the ‘festering fleapit’.
The St. Kilda location has been known to house Melbourne’s homeless, and has been witnessed murders, drug deals and other serious crimes.
