In Wednesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, comedian Tahir Bilgic opened up about the tragic death of his father.
Opening up to fellow camp mate Luke Jacobz, Tahir spoke about how his father suffered from dementia and a few strokes.
“The last, third stroke,” Tahir said, “gone. It was a bleed in the brain. My brothers… every day in the hospital. Back and forth, back and forth,” Tahir explained.
“That’s why I tell people, I say, mate you got your parents around just tell them how you feel now, say what you need to say,” he said, “It becomes way too late,” he continued.
He also said that his father would have loved the fact he was on the show.
“You get a lot of those traits, who you are, from that,” Luke said of Tahir’s close relationship with his dad, “If you do something that reminds you, ‘My dad would have done that’ then that’s him laughing and going ‘See, that’s my boy’.”
Luke has in the past also opened up about the death of his own father who died from brain cancer in 2015.
