Few TV brides have had a bumpier road to the altar than former Summer Bay sweetheart Sally (Kate Ritchie) on her wedding day to Flynn (Joel McIlroy).

Indeed, it was a case of what didn’t go wrong, with the much-loved Sal even being dumped by a bolting horse into a muddy roadside puddle on the way to the ceremony.
Then, just as the outdoor nuptials finally kicked off, the heavens opened, forcing the bride and groom to relocate proceedings to none other than the local hospital!
In other Summer Bay news, Willow (Sarah Roberts) is struggling with the fact she and Alex (Zoë Ventoura) are going their separate ways.
Clearly, a distraught Willow is still deeply in love with the emergency doctor, who is farewelling the Bay to take up a new position in Queensland.
“Willow is heartbroken,” says Sarah. “She and Alex simply felt that the timing was not right for them to be together − but it’s so sad.
Neither of them wanted to end things, but it’s just about geography. And now everything has come crashing down around Willow.”
And what Willow doesn’t know is that Alex is leaving town far sooner than she thought.
After finishing her last day in the local ED, Alex quietly packs up her belongings in her office, including a photo of her and her ex-girlfriend.
However, just as Alex is about to leave town forever, Willow receives a message
on her phone that takes her completely by surprise. Don’t miss it!
