Bec Zacharia has faced the repercussions of her dinner party rant at Married At First Sight‘s Commitment Ceremony.
The bride, 35, went head-to-head with Gia Fleur at Wednesday’s dinner party and sparked outrage when she took aim at all the couples.
And the experts had a lot to say about her behaviour as she took to the couch on Sunday, March 1, resulting in her breaking down in tears.
At first, Bec appeared to be doubling down on her perspective as she insisted she and Danny were “stronger than ever”, despite them visibly looking distant.
When Danny was asked how he felt, he first said he was just “tired” before conceding that he had felt “embarrassed” by her behaviour at the dinner party.
“Obviously, Bec is my wife in this experiment, and I’ll always back her,” he said.

“I asked for a ‘ride or die’, I don’t think you can ask for something that you’re not. I think Bec just got passionate in the moment.”
However, he was then asked how he felt at the dinner party, to which he confessed, “I don’t mind confrontation if it has to be done, but I’m not the type of bloke that’s looking for it.”
Bec was then asked why she had criticised all the other couples at the dinner party, with John Aiken arguing it was to “avoid having tough conversations” about her and Danny.
“I don’t have an excuse for it, John,” she confessed.
John said it appeared that she and Danny were in “deep crisis”, with Bec breaking down in tears as she admitted she is still angry with Danny over his alleged comment to Gia.
“I’m angry at Gia,” she said. “I’m angry at both of them, but I didn’t realise I was still angry at him, but I don’t want to argue with him because I’m scared that he’ll leave me.”
Bec then insisted that she has “chosen” to believe Danny, before Gia chimed in, alleging that the bride had told her the complete opposite off-camera.
“I’m trying to hold back, but this is infuriating because this is the biggest issue with Bec and I’s friendship, or ‘fakeship’,” Gia fumed.
“She always wants to talk to me off-camera, and she says, ‘Babe, I believe you, but what am I going to do? Then I’ve got to leave.'”

Mel Schilling shut her down and turned the group’s attention back to Bec and Danny, who promised to try and better support each other going forward.
Bec admitted she needs more reassurance in their relationship, and ultimately, they both wrote stay despite the difficult week.
Bec also promised the experts not to get involved in any more drama at the next dinner party after they called her out on her conduct.
“I promise next week I won’t have thrown any fires, you have my word,” she vowed.

What has Bec said about the dinner party?
Appearing on Stan’s spin-off show MAFS: After The Dinner Party, Bec apologised for her “disgusting” behaviour at the dinner party.
“I don’t want to come on here and make excuses for my behaviour, that’s not what I’m about,” she said through tears.
“I’ve done a lot of growing since then, but I know that people are going to see that as this toxic, crazy woman coming in, but I look at myself and just see how hurt I was in that moment.”
Bec admitted she was “hurt” and described her outburst as “quintessential deflection” as she opened up on the toll Gia’s allegations about Danny had on her.
Bec and Danny’s relationship almost ended after Brook Crompton claimed that the groom had said Gia was more his “type”, which he has repeatedly denied.
Danny had been left upset that Bec believed their remarks and said he wanted a “ride or die” person who always supported him, which then led to her dinner party outburst.
“I thought, if I can prove that she’s lying about these things and she’s lied about my husband, and then I can prove his trust,” Bec admitted.
“I was desperately trying to save this relationship, and instead of going in and having a conversation like an adult, not like a feral, I went in and just attacked anyone who looked at me.”
She conceded that her behaviour was “unacceptable” and said she is “mortified” watching the scenes back.

What did Bec say to Joel and Juliette?
The dinner party tensions kicked off when Bec confronted Joel over allegedly not speaking to Juliette’s parents at his wedding reception.
The groom insisted that he had spoken to them at the wedding, and while Juliette didn’t appear bothered, Bec confronted the groom.
“You didn’t speak to any of us either,” she added, referring to the rest of the cast.
“Sorry if I left you out, darling, I know you want attention, but,” Joel hit back with.
“I don’t want attention, I just want to know why you didn’t feel the need to speak to Juliette’s parents,” Bec replied.
Speaking to the camera, Joel claimed that “nobody gets along with Bec because she’s vicious and angry”, while Juliette said she had turned into “a mean person”.
“I can be cold and heartless, but nothing I say is a lie, ever. I never lie,” Bec argued.

What happened between Bec and Gia at the dinner party?
Bec and Gia also proved that they are far from being friends as tensions hit an all-time high at the dinner party.
While Gia had previously led the charge against Alissa Fay, she changed her tune and insisted that she only disliked Alissa because of Bec’s comments about her.
Kicking off the row, Bec told Gia, “I know that you thought we were going to be friends, but I’m actually pretty unhappy.”
Bec then alleged that Gia had said that bisexual bride, Julia Vogl, told her that she “wishes she’d been matched with a woman”.
“I didn’t say that, I did not say that,” Gia insisted.
Watching the action live, the experts commented, “Bec is on a mission tonight, isn’t she?”

David Momoh said Bec was “starting little fires everywhere,” while Julia’s partner, Grayson McIvor, criticised her for wading into everyone else’s relationships.
Bec then saw Gia’s groom, Scott McCristal, staring at her over the table, and shouted, “Stare at me with your evil eyes!”
She then demanded that the room “listen” to her, slamming her fist on the table, before once again criticising Gia and Scott.
“You’re going around, dropping bombs in people’s relationships, but actually, what you’re doing is making a fool of yourself,” she told them.
However, expert Mel Schilling argued that “that’s what Bec has been doing all night”, while John Aiken commented that her groom, Danny, looked “embarrassed”.
Gia then got her phone and claimed, “I’ve got screenshots upon screenshots of her talking s*** about everyone in this experiment.”
“Alissa knows I’ve talked s*** on her,” Bec argued.

Alissa was left upset about once again coming under attack from the brides, and described Bec’s antics as “mean girl s***”.
Danny, who last week accused Bec of not supporting him in his feud with Gia, remained quiet as his bride took aim at their rival.
Bec asked him if he was upset, but he insisted he wasn’t; however, he was then heard telling her not to tell him what to do.
Speaking to the camera after her angry tirade, Bec explained that her aim was to prove that “Gia is a liar” as their rivalry appeared to engulf her.
“Tonight, I needed to prove that Gia is a liar. I wanted the whole group to see what she’s done to manipulate all these people,” she said.
“I think [Danny] needs to have a good sleep and then he’ll be really proud of me.”
