Tiger Lily Hutchence has made a rare public appearance in London with her son, and New Idea has heard all about her life as a new parent.
The 30-year-old, who welcomed her first child with partner Ben Archer in 2025, was photographed smiling and enjoying the sunshine earlier this month, with her son in a pram in tow.
New Idea understands that the couple, who tied the knot last year, have been in their own bubble since becoming parents.
“Tiger Lily has a wonderful relationship with Ben’s family, and they’ve welcomed her in as a long-lost daughter,” our insider reveals.
“She’s thriving since they tied the knot and is an incredible mum to their baby boy, who’s the [spitting image] of Michael.”
While it has been a loving time for the family, it has no doubt also been challenging for the daughter of the late INXS frontman, without her parents around.
She sadly lost her father when she was 16 months old, and was only four when her late mother, Paula Yates, passed away.
New Idea understands that Tiger Lily has been making the most of her time with her son, knowing how it feels not to have her parents around.
“There will always be a hole left by the absence of her mum and dad – and there are so many bittersweet moments knowing he’ll never get to sit on his grandad’s knee or be tickled by his grandma,” the source continues.
As well as being a devoted mother, our source says she has also been busy writing music, but has no plans to enter the spotlight.
At the moment, she’s in her “happy place” and enjoys singing to her son.
“She’s over the moon he’s finally sleeping through the night though – it’s given her a chance to write down some of the music that’s been in her head since she became a mum,” the insider says.
Meanwhile, Ben, who is a model and filmmaker, has been busy working on projects, including a documentary titled Buraku Punk Teaser.
The couple tend to keep things between them private, and has chosen not to reveal their son’s name publicly.
