Throughout the episodes we’ve seen The Bachelor’s Cass stalk Nick incessantly, so much so that viewers have labelled her a ‘stage five clinger’ or ‘bunny boiler’ and have compared her to the likes of The Bachelorette’s Jarrod Woodgate.
Add to the fact Cass knew Nick before she went on The Bachelor has made some question if she’s actually a bit of a stalker.
In fact, when the girls were grilled by the former FBI detective last week, the steely professional noted that Cass was completely infatuated with Nick.
So much so, you did wonder if Nick would soon be booting her out of the mansion with pot and bunny in tow.
But in episode 11, the blonde beauty finally scores a single date with the former Wallabies player and boy, is she happy.
“I can’t believe it I’m so happy,” Cass squeals like an excited teenager.
She has that look in her eye that says wedding, babies and growing old together.
Meanwhile Nick is on his way to the date and is keen to find out if there’s more than just a few dates they had in the past. “I know Cass will be excited today…I just wanna know is it just fun or can we progress?” Nick tells the camera.
Nick takes her to Wet and Wild Water Park. On the way, he mumbles some words to her on the bus and Cass can’t stop giggling and telling him how excited she is.
‘I can’t wait to get wet with him,’ coos Cass. The young blonde can’t stop glaring at his rippling at his muscles.
At one stage while the pair head down the slides, Nick lands right on top of her and Cass is desperately hoping for kiss, but alas, nothing happens.
And as the evening falls, Cass is once again gearing up for some serious tonsil hockey as they sit down for some drinks.
Cass admits her feelings have grown even more (can they possibly?) and she needs to know if he’s feeling the same.
“To be honest… I find it hard… umm… yeah you have a glow about ya…you wouldn’t hurt a fly. You’re a really nice girl. You’re an honest, kind girl…’
Nick struggles to get the words out and you’re almost expecting him to let her down gently but finally, after much mumbling from Nick’s part, Cass gets a rose and they have that long awaited kiss.
Cass is beside herself. Nick appears confused. Indeed, perhaps Nick IS confused. Until now we had thought Cass would have been kicked out long ago, but it appears the curly-haired sportsman is quite taken by her after all.
Maybe he DOES feel for her after all?
Could we see Cass making it to the end? Chances are she’ll be red faced and crying down some beach, Jarrod style when he picks his final lady.
