Jodie Foster is the latest in a growing list of stars to lift the lid on the seedy world of Hollywood, admitting that she had a scary close encounter with a producer in her teens.
The 53-year-old, who is now a mother to two young sons, has revealed that at the tender age of 14, someone in a position of authority took advantage of her naivety.
A male producer called her while she was at a sleepover at a friend’s house, knowing full well her mother was out of town. Telling Jodie she’d missed a meeting with him, he summonsed her to his office.

‘He had me come to the appointment and was talking to me, and asked me to take my jacket off and turn around so he could see my body,’ she told SBS’s The Feed. ‘I was 14 and kinda chubby with pimples and whatever.’
Fortunately, the producer in question got his comeuppance when her agent found out about it and stormed over to his office and ‘punched him in the face’.
Jodie’s revelation comes just days after fellow child stars Elijah Wood and Corey Feldman opened up about the dark underbelly of the industry.
