Jennie Garth’s third marriage has reportedly blown up over her hubby – Dave Abrams – demands that she isn’t acting like a ‘happy housewife’, US tabloid Star claims.
The couple have been married for two years, and while they haven’t filed for divorce, they are ‘taking some time apart and working on their marriage,’ a rep confirmed to Star.
Sources have claimed the former Beverly Hills 90210 star’s split from aspiring actor Abrams came as no surprise.
‘Jennie and Dave got married before they really got to know each other’ a source dished to Star. ‘No one would be surprised if they’re having problems. The honeymoon phase has been over for a while now.’
‘They’ve been having problems for some time,’ another source also revealed, ‘Dave hasn’t had much luck landing acting jobs, and Jennie’s tired of seeing him bumming around at home.’
In fact, Jennie hinted towards her marriage troubles on Instagram.
Captioning an inspirational quote, ‘Resilience means the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties.
‘But it doesn’t mean we’ll never experience sadness. It proves we’re able to spring back into shape after struggle has pushed us further than we ever imagined we could go. Resilience allows us to overcome and bounce back from heartache stronger and more flexible than before. I am resilient You are resilient.’
Star also reports that the 45-year-old actress has been seen without her wedding ring in recent months, and has even been seen ‘cosying’ up to her personal trainer.
‘She’s with her trainer all the time,’ dished a source to the publication.
Garth shares daughters Luca, 20, Lola, 14, and Fiona, 11, with ex-husband Peter Facinelli. The former couple, who split in 2012 after 11 years of marriage, finalised their divorce in 2013.
