Guy Pearce and his partner, Game of Thrones actress Carice van Houten, have welcomed their first child.
Breaking the news, the actress revealed the couple had called their baby Monte Pearce.
‘A cute little package arrived and told us his name’s Monte Pearce. We think we’re gonna keep him. Placenta smoothie anyone?’ wrote Carice.
The couple has made lots of quips about their child in the run up to its birth. Wrote Guy, who has long said he’s not cut out to be a dad: ‘Nothing like the prospect of a shadowbaby to change your mind about becoming a Father!’
