The world of TV is in shock today, with the announcement that Growing Pains star Alan Thicke has suddenly died.
The star, who played Jason Seaver in the classic sitcom, was just 69. The publicist of his pop star son, Robin Thicke, confirmed to the LA Times that he has passed.
According to reports, Alan passed of a heart attack.
