‘She goes once a week, but she’s considering going more often.’

Jolie, who is raising her six children – Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11 and Vivienne and Knox, 9 – as a single mother, has had the increasing pressures of her lifestyle crumble down, leaving her broken and alone.

‘This Brad and Jen thing has really touched a nerve,’ a close friend tells The National Enquirer. ‘Angelina realised she couldn’t cope on her own anymore.’

They add, ‘She’s saying therapy has done wonders for her, and she should’ve started it years ago. She’s desperate to pick up the pieces of her life.’

Sources further reveal to the publication that the 42-year-old actress is ‘humiliated’ by Brad’s betrayal.

The National Enquirer’s report claims that the already slender star’s weight has plummeted to new lows, with nutrition expert Dr. Stuart Fischer telling the publication: ‘She looks like she weighs no more than 83 pounds!’

As well as seeking therapy, Angelina has found solace from Jennifer Aniston’s ex-husband Justin Theroux, with the two enjoying a dinner at a New York restaurant together
