Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston’s bitter feud has exploded like never before, amid a sensational report out of the US today alleging an ugly new confrontation between the pair.
Following Angelina and Jennifer’s tense encounter at the Golden Globes – where a seated Angelina was filmed looking away while Jennifer presented onstage, and Jennifer was later seen staring at her phone when Ange took the limelight – things are now really heating up.
According to US magazine Star, Angelina flew into a fury over reports of Brad and Jennifer’s reported meet up in Aspen, an alleged get-together which the magazine claims became public thanks to a loose-lipped concierge. This despite the fact that Ange’s marriage to Brad is now history.
‘She went berserk,’ a source told Star of the aftermath of the Aspen story. ‘Angie has always been jealous of Jen and has suspected for a while that she’s been trying to win Brad back.
‘She’s demanding to meet with Jen in person and get the truth out of her. It’s going to be quite the showdown!’
While Brad and Ange’s divorce proceedings have been progressing in a civil manner of late, Star alleges that all that has come to a dramatic halt, with Angelina on the warpath and allegedly threatening bitter revenge for his friendship with Jen.
‘She called Brad right away and just railed at him,’ claims the publication’s source. ‘But then she broke down and cried. It hurts her that he’s moved on. Angie must feel like she’s the loser this time around.
‘Angie insinuated that she would spill some major dirt on Brad if he didn’t back off from his relationship with Jen,’ continues the source.
Reps for both actresses have denied Star’s outrageous claims, and Jennifer Aniston has long said she is happily married to second husband Justin Theroux. Brad and Jen have also previously denied the publication’s sensational Aspen allegations through their reps.
