An expert has claimed that is Princess Eugenie‘s precarious status within the royal family that has led the Queen to unfairly snubbing her granddaughter – by withholding money from the Privy Purse

The Privy Purse is the allowance given to ‘working royals’ such as Prince William, Prince Harry and Prince Charles, however, despite Princess Eugenie and sister Princess Beatrice undertaking a multitude of charitable causes – all with the title of ‘Princess’ – the daughters of the Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson are not allowed to dip their hand into the Privy Purse, on the Queens orders.

Royal expert Richard Fitwilliams has revealed that the royal sisters are not allowed an allowance, as they currently sit in “royal no man’s land”.

“It is absolutely true that both sisters are in a royal no man’s land, getting attention particularly when they holiday, but not being working royals and having very little public appeal.”

As well as co-founding the Anti-Slavery Collective, HRH Eugenie works associate director at art gallery Hauser & Wirth since 2015.

Who needs the Crown’s money, right Eugenie?
