What is Isla Phillips’ royal title?

Isla is 16th in line to the throne but does not hold a royal title. When Peter was born, his parents Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips declined the Queen’s offer to give him a title making him “the first child to be born to a princess without a title here for at least 500 years,” reported the Washington Post.

“Princess Anne and her husband are understood to have told the queen that they felt a title would be a hindrance in the child’s future career.”

As such, Isla leads a fairly low-key life in London.

Last year, Isla made her debut on the Royal Balcony at The Trooping Colour Parade where she was seen playing with her second cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Channel 7 will be airing Princess Eugenie’s wedding live from 7pm, as the only Australian broadcaster with cameras inside the Chapel. More info here.
