Following the shocking interview, sources in the palace have revealed that Markle is now begging Meghan to forgive him.

‘Thomas adores his daughter and swears he never wanted attention from the interview,’ a source told Us Weekly. ‘All he’s ever cared about is protecting Meghan.’

The insider adds, ‘He wants the royals to stand by his side, but of course so far they haven’t.’

According to the bombshell report, the palace is becoming increasingly ‘frustrated’ that Thomas continues to talk to the media.

Thomas is walking a fine line,’ warns another source. ‘This blabbing needs to stop if he wants to maintain any relationship with Harry and Meghan.’

Prince Harry and Meghan were both blindsided by Thomas’ shocking sit down.

‘The proper thing to do would have been to let Meghan and Kensington Palace know he was giving an interview,’ a palace source previously told Us. ‘He already did damage before the wedding.’

Separate reports claim that the Duchess Of Sussex has cut ties with her father as a result of the interview, especially following his sensational remarks about Meghan’s new grandmother-in-law Queen Elizabeth.

Markle revealed to TMZ, ‘If the Queen is willing to meet our arrogant, ignorant, and insensitive president she has no excuse not to meet me, I’m nowhere near as bad.’

Trump is scheduled to meet Queen Elizabeth in the UK next month.

‘He is feeling upset by that. Before the wedding there was a relationship.

‘He spoke to Harry a lot in the build-up, but since the interview, nothing. He feels shunned.

‘He thought they might have had plans to come out to see him by now but he hasn’t heard if there are. He doesn’t care if they don’t come for a while — he knows how busy they must be — he just wants to know they are coming.

‘At the moment he can’t go to them; the problems with his heart were real enough.’
