She’s an avid user of social media, and Princess Eugenie lived up to her name by posting perhaps her sweetest Instagram yet.
The 29-year-old Princess of York – who got her happily ever after last year by marrying her longtime love Jack Brooksbank in a fairytale royal wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle – shared a seaside throwback photo from her childhood, with the caption:
“As the summer is coming, here is a throwback to when I clearly did a good job at rubbing in my suncream! #tbt”

The daughter of Queen Elizabeth‘s son Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson looks adorable with lashings of suncream smeared over her face and arms.
A young Eugenie, who looks to be between four and seven in the photo, wears a retro blue swimsuit and matching beach hat as she plays in the sand with a yellow bucket and green spade.
Eugenie’s last post to her Instagram account was a touching Father’s Day tribute to her dad the Duke of York, in which she thanked Andrew for walking her down the aisle on her special day last October.

For her wedding day, Eugenie opted for Bobbi Brown’s Hannah Martin, the same makeup artist used by her cousin Kate Middleton when she married Prince William at London’s Westminster Abbey in 2011.
Six months before her own big day, Eugenie’s wedding venue played host to her cousin Prince Harry‘s historic nuptials to Meghan Markle in May 2018.
