According to Express, Prince George is “obsessed” with tractors and enjoys playing on them with his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

In the new ITV documentary Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall, the Duke of Cambridge admitted that his six-year-old son enjoys playing with farm equipment and tractors.

While inspecting the Duchy of Cornwall, Prince William said, “I should have brought George today.”

“He would be absolutely loving this… He’s obsessed,” he added.

The 37-year-old told Mervyn Keeling (a farmer living in the Duchy of Cornwall) that Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, also enjoy the outdoors.

“My children are already, you know, playing on the tractors and, like you say, it’s so important to get outside, and have the children understand nature,” said William – who shares his three children with Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge.

According to Express, Prince William is in the process of understanding organic farming and how to manage the Duchy of Cornwall the way his father, Prince Charles has.

The Duke is just one of the members of the royal family appearing in Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall.

The two-part documentary will air on October 24 and 31, with the first episode focusing on the Prince of Wales efforts in the Duchy of Cornwall (having held the title of the Duke of Cornwall for 50 years).

The second part will analyse the transition between Prince Charles and his son Prince William when he becomes king – a fact which allegedly forced the heir apparent to “confront his own mortality.”

When asked how he felt about William’s succession, Prince Charles admitted:

“Confronting your own mortality is a very good thing for you, if I may say so, it’s quite good for the soul.”

Prince William will inherit Prince Charles’ $1.8 billion estate when he becomes the heir apparent, but he has reportedly promised to not disrupt the work done by his father (who is known as the “boss” in the Duchy of Cornwall).

In the ITV documentary, Prince Charles was moved upon hearing Prince William’s praise for transforming the 700-year-old estate to a profitable business.

“I was deeply touched and moved by what he [William] said.

“It practically reduced me to tears, it did really because I suddenly thought… well just hearing that from him, has made the last 50 years worthwhile.

“I want to be able to potter round, you know on a stick, in my dotage, saying gosh look at this, you know.”

According to Cornwall Livethe Duchy of Cornwall includes the Isles of Schilly, the Truro Eastern District Centre, the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery, 900 hectares of woodland (including Greenscombe Wood in the Tamar Valley) and stretches of water such as the Looe, Helford, and Camel estuaries.

9 Honey reports that the money generated from the estate will fund the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s expenses, as well as the expenses of other members of the royal family.

Presently, Prince Charles uses the money from the Cornwall Estate to fund Prince William and Kate Middleton (and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis), Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (and their son, Archie-Harrison).
