Prince William is no stranger to attending royal engagements and regularly represents his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, at events around the globe. But, the royals most recent engagement has seen him make a very embarrassing cultural faux pas.
While attending the grand opening of Japan House London, an organisation that aims to create a greater understanding of Japan amongst residents in the United Kingdom, The Duke of Cambridge sat down with a group of kids to practice using chopsticks.
Wills was seen happily interacting with the children and participating in the dayโs events.

โThese are quick tricky, arenโt they?โ he said while attempting to use a pair of chopsticks. โTheyโre quite slippery.โ
The children, and William, attempted to move food from one bowl to another.
โHave you guys eaten much Chinese food?โ he asked the children.
Quickly realising his mistake, William corrected himself: โSorry, Japanese food?โ
โHave you had much Japanese food? No? Not too much. Do you like sushi? Itโs delicious, it really is yummy.โ
Unfortunately for him, the awkward moment was captured on camera and quickly began doing the rounds on social media.
It seems even royals arenโt immune from making the odd blunder!
