Prince Harry breaks silence on his honeymoon with Meghan Markle

Prince Harry stepped out to chat t young leaders from around the world at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, and has remained tight-lipped about his secret honeymoon with Meghan Markle

Mavis Elias, a young philanthropist from Namibia, asked the 33-year-old royal if he could confirm that he and Meghan had traveled to Africa for their post-wedding holiday. 

‘No, we didn’t go to Namibia,’ he replied.

Then cheekily added, ‘I’m not going to say where.’

Elias was just one of the sixty-one recipients of the Queen’s Young Leaders award – a project set up to reward change-makers and influencers across the Commonwealth of 53 nations linked to the Commonwealth. 

Harry was named as the organisations Youth Ambassador late last year. 

The Duke of Sussex addressed the Queen’s Young Leaders, a group of emerging influencers ages 18-29, and said: ‘I guess you can say you’re stuck with me.

‘I, together with my wife Meghan, look forward to convening young people from around the Commonwealth to hear your ideas, work with you to build platforms for you to collaborate and form partnerships, and continue to meet with many of you as we travel around in our work on behalf of the royal family.

‘We look forward to meeting many of you this evening — but we also hope to see you in action in your home countries someday too.’
