Prince Charles recently took to Instagram to post his first ever personally penned social media message ahead of his trip to India this week.

And on Thursday, the 70-year-old sparked concerns about his health upon his arrival at the South Asian country, after he was spotted with painful-looking swollen feet.
While visiting Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – a Sikh house of worship – to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, eagle-eyed fans noticed his toes and fingers were swollen.
Although it’s not clear if Charles has any underlying health concerns, puffy and swollen feet can be caused from flying on planes – and the prince travelled nine hours to India.
Despite his acute affliction, the prince didn’t let it prevent him from carrying out his royal duties, and afterwards, he visited the Indian Meteorological Department in New Delhi, Express reported.
This is the Duke’s 10th official visit to India, and he is undertaking the two-day visit to New Delhi to strengthen the ties between India and the UK.
As part of his itinerary, Charles plans to cast a light on pertinent issues relating to climate change and the impact it is having on the nation.
Ahead of his trip, Charles posted his first ever message to his Clarence House Instagram page on Tuesday.
“As I depart for India, on my tenth official visit, I did just want to convey my warmest best wishes to all of you in the Sikh Community in the United Kingdom, and across the Commonwealth, on the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji,” the Duke captioned a photo of himself and Camilla.
He added: “The principles on which Guru Nanak founded the Sikh religion, and which guide your lives to this day, are ones which can inspire us all – hard work, fairness, respect, and selfless service to others.
“In embodying these values, Sikhs have made the most profound contribution to the life of this country, and continue to do so, in every imaginable field, just as you do in so many other places around the world.”
Charles went on to say how much he and Camilla admired and respected the Sikh community.
