Meghan Markle has reacted to the controversy surrounding her and Prince Harry’s use of a private jet during a recent holiday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced public criticism after chartering a jet to Spain and France in a matter of days, with some claiming it seemed to contradict their stance on protecting the environment.

However a royal insider says the former Suits actress and new mother is brushing off the criticism.
“She’s moving on and riding above the storm,” an insider told Vanity Fair.
“She’s not wasting time or energy on the row over the private jets, instead she’s getting very excited about the new launch.”
Another source added: “As far as she is concerned it’s a storm that will blow over. She is focused on bigger things right now.”
Bigger things include the Duchess’ work with Smart Works, a charity which helps vulnerable women to get into the working world.
The 38-year-old shared a sneak peek video of the photoshoot with the charity, which shows Meghan greeting women who arrived for the photoshoot for Smart Works.
‘Sneak peek at the new Smart Works charity capsule collection shoot, ahead of the autumn launch,’ read the videos captions.
The caption continued: ‘An initiative supporting the Smart Works collective which will equip women entering the work force with the key work wear essentials they need… Coming soon.’
