Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told Express.co.uk: “It looks as though Princess Beatrice will be stealing the royal limelight next year with a 2020 wedding on the cards.”

Reports from The Sun claim that Princess Beatrice’s partner is a 34-year-old Italian property developer who specialising in discreetly finding and developing expensive homes for rich clients.

He’s also the step-son of the late Christopher Shale, and it is thought that he had connections as a friend of the royal family prior to his romance with Princess Beatrice.

Last year, Edoardo attended the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank – who are also rumoured to be announcing their first baby soon.

Express reported that Beatrice and Edoardo have been dating since October last year.

Princess Beatrice’s last boyfriend was Uber executive Dave Clark (whom she dated for ten years up until their breakup in 2016).

Earlier this week New Idea learnt exclusively that Princess Beatrice is telling friends to expect an invitation to their upcoming destination wedding in Italy very soon.

“They’ve decided to elope and wed in Italy, sending ‘save the dates’ to close friends and family to let them know the plans and start arranging flights ahead of their big day,” a royal insider revealed.

“They’re going all-out to make it the showbiz wedding of the century – with Beatrice saying that while they may be shunning the royal traditions and going against protocol, it won’t be any less regal or lavish.”
