In episode 8 of The Bachelorette, things got a little hot under the collar as Ali Oetjen arranged a sleepover for the winners of the group date.
After Charlie and Paddy got eliminated boys Todd, Bill, Daniel, Dan, Taite got cooking in the kitchen but things got a little saucy when Taite pulls Ali aside for some one on one time.
The pair decide to go outside and snuggle under the duvet. After telling Taite that she ‘would go to bed thinking about their kiss’, Ali is keen to take things from where they last left.
And things certainly did get steamy with the pair passionately kissing and fondling each other non-stop.
“I never thought I’d come here looking for love… but when I’m with Ali I’m literally lost for words,” says Taite.
Ali sneaks her hand under the doona and cops a little fondle.
“You can feel like that?” Taite says, leaving viewers questioning what ‘that’ really means.
“Yes, I can feel your heart,” says Ali, clearing up any confusion.
“It doesn’t beat like that for no reason,” gasps Taite.
“I can’t breathe around you sometimes,” admits Ali. The chemistry between the pair is intense.
“I’m here for you only you,” admits Taite. They kiss some more.
“I’m absolutely 100 per cent falling for you,” says Ali.
With Rumours abound that Taite is this season’s winner, after their one on one time it appears the writing is certainly on the wall.
Todd is creeping slowly up behind, but Ali’s feelings for Taite would have to take a sudden take of direction for him to steal the crown.
In a teaser for next week’s episode, the pair’s chemistry appears to intensify until Ali asks Taite some serious questions about their future.
At one point she says. “I don’t want him to say that! I want him to fight for me!”
Will Taite lose his place or is this just a short lived blip Ali can overcome?
Taite is currently Sportsbet’s frontunner to win at 1.33 followed by Todd at 5.00, Bill at 6.50 and Charlie at 8.00
