It’s Home Towns on episode 10 of The Bachelorette and two of them go disastrously wrong, leaving one man storming off in frustration.

Not only does Bill decide to take Ali Oetjen to his ex-girlfriend’s house for dinner instead of meeting the family, but ‘stage five clinger’ Charlie decides not to take her to meet anyone at all, issuing an intense ultimatum instead.

The pair go on a romantic date in his home town Coogee, before things take a turn for the worse.

“I’m not going to pretend everything is peachy creamy, love me for who I am or don’t love me at all,” he tells the camera before sitting Ali down for a serious chat.

“So, my cousin and my aunty and her partner was where we were going to go for dinner tonight. But it’s not going to happen,” says Charlie to a shocked Ali.

“I need to be brutally honest with you. There are three other guys you are seeing and having connections with and like you I can’t get this wrong…I need to know this is real and one hundred per cent right and to do this I just feel we need to be exclusive.

“I adore you I can see a future with you, I’m falling for you hard, but I’m finding it really hard while you are seeing other guys to say that I love you,” presses Charlie.

“But I want someone to tell me that I love me,” laments Ali.

“But I’m making sure this is lock tight. I’ve been taking a risk… until I know how you’re feeling about me I can’t share what I’m feeling about you,” he continues.

“I can’t tell you that now,” Ali sighs.

“Look do what you do best and go away and think about it, Ali,” Charlie adds.

Confused, Ali then spends some alone time on a cliff before confronting Charlie again at the cocktail party.

Charlie goes on and on about exclusivity again and Ali tries hard to explain they’re on a dating show.

But the two can’t seem to see eye to eye and Ali ends up sending Charlie home.

“Just leave then. Bye. Be well,” says Ali coldly.

Charlie trots to the limo and looks all forlorn.

“I just don’t understand why she doesn’t get it,” he sighs.
