It’s their turn to cook in the My Kitchen Rules instant restaurant tonight and country folk Jodi Anne and Mick are excited to say the least.
The ‘cute couple’ talk to New Idea about their experience on the show so far.
“We kept being called the country loved up couple and people said we were cute cause were always holding hands and hugging and we do that in public a lot but, look I think we’re just kind and show people that you can be married for 17 years and still be like you only just met,” reveals Jodi.

“I’ve said to a few people I think we are still in our honeymoon period. We’re not controversial, we’re just run of the mill country people and that’s how we are going to come across and I think Australian’s like that so I’m not worried,” she adds.
Earlier in the series, homeschoolers Josh and Austin, dubbed as this season’s villains said the couple looked like a ‘lesbian and gay friend, but Jodi said she wasn’ phased.
“Even the lesbian and gay friend comment didn’t phase me. Ive got fairly thick skin and I didn’t find it offensive and as the boys said everyone was asked to give first impressions and that’s what they did. We did the same and got impressions wrong as well,” she said.
“I am one of those people who gets to know everyone pretty quickly. I can go to a party where I don’t know anyone and know their mothers, the name of their dog by the time I leave. Im a people person and interested in their stories,” she adds.
How will they fare in the kitchen tonight?
