Married At First Sight’s Davina Rankin was one of the most controversial characters Australian reality TV has ever seen. But, it’s clear the brunette beauty’s off-screen life couldn’t be more different from her drama-plagued reality television stint.
Rankin has been happily living with her partner of eight months, Jaxon Manuel.
Speaking to WHO, the 27-year-old claims she’s the happiest she’s ever been following the backlash from her TV debut, where she was painted as the villain for arranging a “secret date” with fellow villain Dean Wells – all behind their reality partners Ryan Gallagher and Tracey Jewel’s backs.
“He’s such a caring, uplifting and positive person,” Rankin says of Manuel, 32. “He’s very dedicated and motivated and he’s gorgeous, so that helps.”
Davina and Jaxon are so loved-up they’ve even discussed their future and marriage.
The former reality star is adamant her real-life wedding will be relaxed and low-key.
“I don’t feel like I need to feel like a princess for a day,” she tells WHO. “I don’t want to give anything away but [our wedding] definitely won’t be a big, extravagant event that everyone would expect.”
