Kiera Maguire is no stranger to sharing her private relationships with the public. The blonde beauty fell in love with Jarrod Woodgate on Bachelor In Paradise but has since split. Now, she has said there are a few rumours and reports about her breakup that werehard to stomach.
Kiera told news.com.au that she was horrifed to read a story in Women’s Day that she claimed was “completely made up”.
The story in question ran on Monday and claimed that Woodgate “enjoyed using different sex toys, aids and harnesses” and she had been “uncomfortable” about his sexual past.
“That came from some of the boys that were on The Bachelorette,” Maguire said.
“That’s got nothing to do with me and that’s disappointing because those things have nothing to do with our relationship, so why are they even talking about that stuff?”
“It’s a bit of low blow and I find it offensive, all of that stuff which is in that article is so not true.”
Maguire also revealed that she and Woodgate have been trying hard to keep their split as amicable as possible, but a close source has been selling stories about them.
“If I wanted to say that I would have spoken about it myself, like that’s crossing the line. And if I find out who is doing that they will not be my friend, and it is someone close to me too because, like I don’t just talk to anyone.”
Kiera admitted that there was a pressure to post about her relationship online due to their time on TV but she also explained that their issues went deeper than Instagram.
“He thinks I have mental health issues but the real problem was I was depressed because of our relationship — I wasn’t depressed because of Instagram,” Maguire told news.com.au.
Woodgate told New Idea he had been “worried about her mental health” and claimed that Keira was “Instagram obsessed.”
“He can deflect and say that was the reason but I was unhappy, because I was unsatisfied with what I was getting … I was so unhappy towards the end I felt like I was giving everything but I just wasn’t getting anything in return, I felt drained,” said Maguire.
