New mum Diana Machacon gave birth to an unusually large baby weighing in at 14 pounds – almost double the weight of an average newborn!
Isaac David Guerra Machacon measured a whopping 55cm in length and is already wearing nappies made for five-month-old babies.
His size was so large his parents were forced to buy new clothes as none of his own ones fit him.
The big bubba was born via caesarean on December 2 at the Cienaga Polyclinic in Magdalena, Columbia.
Diana told CEN she was shocked by his size.
‘I really did not expect him to be this big. I mean, he looked big on the ultrasound scan, but I never imagined quite so large,’ she said.
‘I am over the moon and Isaac is so beautiful, but most of all I am happy because he is healthy.’
