A mum has become an overnight sensation, after her son posted a picture of her holding a painting she had done.
This was just the second time schoolteacher, Cindi Decker, had put her paintbrushes to work, and while she thought no one would like her creation, her son, Matthew, proudly posted it on Reddit.
But what happened next will amaze you.
Thousands of people started commenting on the photo, with one person suggesting someone should paint the photo of Cindi holding her own painting.
The genius idea was taken on board by an artist in Sweden, Kristoffer Zetterstrand, who did just that!
He then posted a picture of himself holding his painting of Cindi with her painting, captioned ‘I painted somebody’s mum.’ Confused? See below!
This sparked a trend, which has seen other artists carry on the chain of paintings, with the next one painted by Canadian student, Leila Amer.
She captioned her work of art: ‘Took a while and not perfect, but I painted the guy who painted the other guy’s mum.’
