Ashleigh Barty has won the Grand Slam in straight sets, beating out Czech player Marketa Vondrousova, in a truly stunning game of tennis.
The 23-year-old is the first Australian woman to win at Roland Garros since Margaret Court took out the title in 1973, a whopping 46 years ago.
Other Aussie tennis legends Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Lesley Bowrey have also bested their opponents in a french open final back in 1971 and 1965 respectively.

This marks the first time Ash Barty has made it to a grand slam final.
Ash won her first grand slam 6-1 6-3, becoming the French Open champion of 2019.
Barty told the press: “I have been able to play really good tennis when I’ve needed it. I never dreamt that I’d be sitting here with this trophy here at the French Open.”
