Alexandra Nation shot to stardom on the 2016 season of The Bachelor which she ‘won’, her prize being the love and devotion of the very handsome Richie Strahan.
The couple were smitten, declaring their excitement about their shared future all over social media.
But the relationship did not last and the aesthetically-pleasing pair announced their split via Instagram roughly one year later.
It was no doubt devastating for both Alex and Richie and it certainly was for us. We were genuinely attached to the couple and very reluctant to let them disappear into the ether.
Accordingly, we were pretty damn excited when the Network Ten franchise announced that both Alex and Richie had both signed up to be part of the cast of The Bachelor in Paradise 2019. Hurrah! Our favourites were back.
And they looked good too – especially Alex who appeared fit and fabulous and just that little bit more chic than she had when she starred back in 2016.
Yes, she was beautiful back then – indeed, she ALWAYS has been – but her hair is now chopped short and she exudes a certain indescribable something that we just can’t put our finger on.
