Vintage Fisher Price record player could be worth a gold mine!

Before iPads, online music and even the internet, the Fisher Price Music Box was the the height of technology in the 1970’s and 1980’s for children.Who can forget the classic hits Humpty Dumpty or Edelweiss twanging away on your own private record player.

Parents also loved the record players as they didn’t require batteries, just the old fashioned wind up key.

There was hardly a home without the iconic little red box.

Collectors have been snapping up the vintage much loved toy, paying big bucks for both the player and the plastic records to play on the music box.

The standard selling price for the record player is upwards of $100, the better the condition the higher the worth. Premium condition record players with the box with no records missing have been selling for over $300.There is also a market for the records themselves, just one record can fetch upwards of $25, other sellers have been grouping them together and selling as collections.
