Light Home and Away spoilers ahead! She knew this day was coming, but not so soon. And now Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) finds herself struggling to pick up the pieces of her life after Brody (Jackson Heywood) leaves the Bay with his new love, Simone (Emily Eskell).

Earlier, Brody heads to the Farm House with a bag of Ziggy’s belongings, including an item that once symbolised so much joy and promise to the young couple – their wedding album.
Ziggy, however, is in anything but a receptive frame of mind. Shocked to realise that her ex is leaving town sooner rather than later, she does all she can to keep her true emotions in check.
Refusing to accept the wedding album from Brody, the young mechanic makes it abundantly clear that the last thing she wants is a permanent reminder of their marriage.
“I think Ziggy has been pushing Brody’s impending departure out of her mind,” says Sophie. “When he now tries to leave her with the wedding photos, that’s when it really hits home. It upsets her that Brody doesn’t want anything to do with their past life anymore – it’s almost as if she meant nothing to him.”
Indeed, when Brody departs not only the house, but Summer Bay itself, for a new life with Simone away from the seaside town, we see that Ziggy is far from coping well.
