In between training celebrities on Dancing With The Stars, professional dancers Jorja Freeman and Gustavo Viglio are very much in love.
The pair first met in 2015 on a cruise ship while performing with a live dance show called Burn The Floor.
“We were close friends for a while,” Jorja recalled during an interview with Rave It Up.
“She was completely in love with me,” Gustavo cheekily quipped, to which a bashful Jorja countered that he “made the first move”.
After a few challenging years of long distance, the talented duo eventually made their relationship official. And in 2019, the Italian heart-throb got down one knee.
“So… Pop the Limoncello. I’m marrying an Italian!!!” Jorja wrote on Instagram to announce the news.
The lovebirds planned two weddings – one in Australia and one in Italy as Jorja’s grandparents couldn’t travel overseas.
In March 2020, Jorja and Gustavo tied the knot for the first time in Melbourne, surprising their friends and family with the ceremony.
Due to COVID, their Italian nuptials were sadly postponed until 2022.
“The day for our history book,” Jorgia captioned photos from the special day.
Gustavo has long gushed about his wife.
To mark her 30th birthday in 2021, the dancer wrote: “All I got to say is thank you. You are the woman that made me always a better man, you always comfort me when I’m feeling low, You truly believe in me and most of all you understand my English 😂.”
While many Dancing With The Stars fans question whether there is any jealousy watching one’s partner passionately dance with another, Jorgia and Gustavo have insisted that it’s all part of the profession.
When the Italian was paired with Kyly Clarke in 2021, host Sonia Kruger asked Jorja if it was “odd seeing your husband dance with a beautiful woman like that?”
Taking the comment in her stride, Jorja joked: “He’ll do anything for a 10 score.”
