Now, weeks later Alex Nation has made a huge statement about their relationship status, ditching the diamond promise ring he gave her during the show’s 2016 finale.
Hitting the town for a night out in Melbourne over the weekend, the white gold GP Israel ring – an accessory the 25-year-old is rarely seen without – was noticeably absent from her right hand in photos obtained by Daily Mail.
Sporting a Harley Davidson T-shirt, frayed mini-skirt and thigh-high boots, the young mum also raised eyebrows as she was spotted speaking intimately with a mystery man at the busy bar.
This comes amid rumours that the pair’s usually high-profile relationship is on the rocks, with the reality TV stars refraining from sharing photos of each other on social media in recent weeks.
A friend close to the model has explained that distance has begun taking its toll on the couple who are now living separate lives as Alex resides in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula while rope technician Richie remains in Perth.
‘Alex’s little boy Elijah had spent the weekend with his dad,’ the source told New Idea.
‘Usually when that happens, she makes the most of her time and heads straight to Perth to see Richie. The fact that they both spent the weekend alone is very unusual…’
The pair are yet to comment on the alleged split.
