Speaking with Daily Mail, a family friend has revealed that Lisa, 48, is “aware of Saffie’s death,” and is “pulling through” the injuries she sustained in the suicide bombing at the Ariana Grande concert last month.

“The news about Lisa being out of danger is the biggest in this since the start,” 38-year-old Mike Swanson said.

“She was in a critical condition at first, but she came off life support on Saturday and was up and talking on Sunday.”

“She’s aware of the situation with Saffie,” he continued.

“She’s still in hospital, but she’s moving her legs, which is fantastic.”

Saffie was the youngest of the 22 people killed in the terror attack.

A further 59 people were left injured with shrapnel wounds from the explosion, including her older sister Ashlee Bromwich.

Swanson revealed that Ashlee is still recovering well in hospital, as her father Andrew remains vigil by her bedside.

“Andrew has been so strong,” he said.

“He’s not wanted to grieve until he knew his wife was going to be okay.”

“He’s been a machine all week.’
