In a House Rules first, one couple’s relationship came to a devastating end on air.
The competition became all too much for Sydney duo Troy and Bec came to the decision to end their relationship.
‘Building a house in seven days puts a massive amount of strain on any relationship,’ Bed said.
‘Because we’ve never actually lived together, we’ve never spent this much time together.’
Following a fight while out shopping, the tension overflowed and Bec and Troy moved into separate hotel rooms.
‘Troy and I aren’t in the best place at the moment,’ she said.
‘It’s just a shame that things have gone the way that they have’
Troy arrived on site without Bec and it was clear things were over.
‘My dream has turned into my worst nightmare,’ Bec confessed.
‘We were going to start our lives together and now that’s not going to happen.
‘The relationship with Troy and I is over.
‘I want to go home, I want to go back to my kids, my parents.’
Will the couple be forced to leave the competition?
