The new owner is Hollywood hotshot and current Nickelodeon president Brian Robbins.
The figure is US$2 million less than DeGeneres originally requested.
The property underwent extensive renovations and quickly became a “hip Santa Barbara hideaway” with “an esoteric farmhouse and century-old barn” that together fuse “old world sensibility with the best in modern design.”
The front door of the property opens up to an open plan living and dining area with white walls and a stunning fireplace. The kitchen is all black and the bathrooms sport black and white tiles to match.
