The Super Switch is courting controversy from the kick off, with episode one of Channel 7's new relationship experiment leaving viewers horrified at what they saw on Tuesday night's show.
WATCH: Ben Lyall models kinky fetish underwear for horrified girlfriend, Christie Casser
Dubbed Australia's most controversial experiment, the series follows six couples who've reached a crossroads in their relationships.
And in a make-or-break effort they swap partners to force them to take a long, hard look at their relationships to help determine if they are strong enough to survive.
Phew, sounds deep!
Which may have been why show contestant Ben Lyall, 35, decided to strip off in episode one and model some kinky fetish underwear, much to the horror of his girlfriend, Christie Casser, 28.
In the worrying scenes, Ben wore nothing but a black leather jockstrap, a mankini with a pompom on the crotch and a g-string that revealed the extent of his manscaping.
While Ben seemed completely at ease with his state of undress on camera, Christie was less than impressed.
“No! Get it off, you creep!” she said.
This isn't the first time Christie has been shocked by Ben in their relationship.
The dating project manager told New Idea that when it came to going on the show, Ben completely blindsided her.
“He actually applied by himself, I had no idea,” she said.
“He applied for it and got through the first few rounds of casting and then he goes, ‘by the way I’ve applied for this show’.”
Christie was completely taken aback by his decision.
“I was just like, ‘What have you done?’” she recalls.
“I didn’t know anything about it, so I was a bit overwhelmed, but at the same time it was kind of exciting.”
